Maris the Chojo (Rumic Theater)

As a Thanatosian, Maris possesses six times the strength of an average person. The issue is  individuals that six times as strong are too much for the rest of the galaxy to handle. Therefore, Thanatosians wear harnesses that limit their strength to minimize the damage that their race causes. But Maris unintentionally ruins everything she comes into contact with. Every operation the Inter-Galactic Space Patrol assigns her to increases her debt because all damages are deducted from her pay.

Rumiko Takahashi created the one-shot manga narrative Maris the Chojo, also referred to as The Supergal. After appearing in the October 1980 special issue of Shōnen Sunday, it was turned into an anime OVA. Later, the manga was collected in the Rumic World series.
