I want you to know, throughout your pain, the irony of you feeling alone is that you've never been less alone in feeling alone. It's a genuine plague that has over taken us silently and mysteriously. I have talked to many who have a cognitive dissonance of how alone they are, and they think that it's just a 'other country thing'. You're not alone. I guess I can't say any of us are in our loneliness. I'm not sure where we went wrong. The internet 15-20 years ago I met people that you can't find anymore. Tarwater, Chitral, and others. After the server blade of Spinebreaker of WoW was auctioned off, I guess that was all gone. But that was ~20 years ago. Where are we now? Where are you now? Doesn't it seem extremely strange? It used to be so easy to make friends, now everyone just sort of has the same ones they've had for about ten years or more, if they even have that.
