M5A1 w/Hedgelow Cutter

This is a 15t light tank of the US Army. It is an improved version of the M3 light tank, which was the third most produced tank after the T34 and M4 Sherman.

After being deployed to North Africa in November 1942, it was used on the Italian, European and Pacific fronts.

This Lora recreates the vehicle with a steel "plow" called a "hedgerow cutter" attached to the front of the hull.

アメリカ陸軍の15トン級軽戦車です。T34,M4シャーマンに次ぐ生産量を誇るM3軽戦車の改良型にあたります。

1942年11月、北アフリカ戦線に投入後、イタリア、ヨーロッパ、太平洋の各戦線で

活躍しました。

このLoraは車体前面に「ヘッジロウカッター」と呼ばれる鉄骨製の「鋤」を取り付けた姿を再現しています。

軽戦車としては強力な貫徹力を持つ主砲を搭載し、太平洋戦域では日本軍の前に強敵として出現しました。チハたんなどひとたまりもなかった事でしょう。
