Kyojiro Kagenuma- 京次郎 - Way of the Samurai 2 - 侍道2

Kyojiro Kagenuma from Way of the Samurai 2, or if you're like me and can't read Japanese but would like to actually find some material on her 京次郎 from 侍道2.

It's not nearly as easy to use as I'd hoped, seems like you have to really play with the lora strength compared to other stuff I've made at times. Here's my suggestions so far:

1. Lore between .7 and 1.2, though you may go higher depending on the model. The higher you go the more likely you're going to get Playstation 2 style graphics pictures of her standing. This can be good for portraits but not so good for action things.

2. Specifiy hair down, put purple hair and short hair in negs, specify long black hair, if you don't want her bandana you have to lay into the negatives and watch that lora strength. Even if you do want the bandana, I find it helpful to specify it, basically, be clear if you want the bandana or not, put something like "bandana blending into hair" in negs" can help. I'd also put "sweat" in negatives for better cheek swirls. DON'T use cheek swirls in your prompts, for some reason civitai gives you squirrel cheeks, I think cheek markings is the way to go. On some pictures it has a tendency to give her hair charms, it might help to put these in negs: h_air beads, hair cuffs, hair tube, braid bead, braid cuff, hair ornament, hair tie, hair decoration, hair accessory, jewelry in hair, ribbons, bells, tubes in hair, braided ornament, decorative braid, hairband, elastic, string in hair, bun cover, kanzashi_

3. I feel like you get more accurate kyojiro with "mature face", "bags under eyes" and "small irises". The term "sanpaku eyes" may help as well.

4. Her default look is kimono, headband/bandana/head protector, sword/kimono, and standing with a kind of disturbingly neutral look because that's how she looks in 99% of the game. Also, a bit blocky/jagged as we're talking PS2 graphics. You can get around this by specifying styles, using style loras, or using appropriate prompts.

5. If you're doing cheesecake stuff, you may want to put "maid" in negatives unless you're going for the maid look of course, seems like that shows up on the sexier prompts.

6. I guess she IS pretty androgynous, so you should specify female in prompts

I did this one only from game screencaps and renders, 59 pics. There's actually some fantastic fanart and cosplay out there of her, and even some lewds, so sock away that kanji if you want to find it, but I wanted to see how we'd do just on game pics. I did this one in pony because I'm better at it than ILL (and there's a site setting to mix and match loras, which I recommend, I've never had trouble with it) but if it gets a response, or hey, even if I don't like this one, I'll take another run at in ILL. I'm thinking maybe I should have used autotagger. Oh, and I shared my dataset here if you think you can do better. Chances are, you'd be right!

Kyojiro Kagenuma, rarely known as O-kyo is a character in Way of the Samurai 2. She is a sadist and a psychopath who works as an enforcer in the Aoto Gang. She is a formidable opponent and wields the deadly Biteikotsu. It is clear throughout the story that she holds little allegiance to the gang, and simply works for them to sate her insatiable thirst for blood.

Way of the Samurai 2 came out in 2003 for PS2, but it feels like its been longer. I preordered it and picked it up from Suncoast (or one of those mall outfits, gimme a break its been 22 years), and it was an adventure to get it, because I waited for the mall to open, drove back, the first copy they gave me was completely shattered in the case, had to drive back, etc, etc, etc. I won't tell you I unlocked and did everything, because it was a hard game, even if you learned what worked. I had my PS2 and WOTS2 all the way up till a couple months ago, its just not practical to hook up to CRT TVs anymore.

Kyojiro was my favorite character, nobody else came close in the whole series, it didn't matter how many times she stirred my guts and killed me in my own apartment. Her English VA is fine, I mean if you were going to dub the Japanese VA, she checked all the boxes, but I felt like the Japanese actress captured the subtleties of someone who's cold, gleeful, and has a bloodlust that sounds almost sexual. Really there's no writeup that will do her justice. The way she sways and those beady eyes and that sword, course we all used that sword, not just cuz of how it looked, that moveset was awesome.

So , they also had a Japan only release (understandably) on PSP where they put in some extras, including a super exploitive sexy maid outfit for Kyojiro just in case you had any lingering doubts about her gender. I don't have an emulator and most pictures and video of it out there are not great because you're dealing with a Playstation 2 era 3d game ported to PSP, but I included what I could with that outfit, you can try something like maid or maid headdress.

Oh right, key word is ky0j1r0ws2 , which you pronounce like you're clearing your throat. I should have tagged better, but you might find it useful if the lora just refuses to give you anything close to her default look.
