VHS - Amateur Home Video

There've been a few attempts at creating a VHS LoRA for SDXL, none of them 100% convincing.

Neither is this one.

It does a decent job with the color and lack of detail, but I was really hoping to capture more tracking errors and static. You get them every once in a while if you're very lucky, but you can't prompt for them specifically.

I guess training on noise is a fool's errand when the model's entire job is to diffuse it...

Recommendation: Do not add VHS or video to your prompt. More likely than not you'll get floating video tapes. Unless you're into floating video tapes, that is... not judging.
