Here’s the first release of 2026. I wasn’t sure which character to start the year with, and then I thought — why not do the Kaguya Kawasumi from the Shin Taimashi Kaguya run? As I’ve already said before, she’s one of my absolute favorite characters. Back when I made her first appearance — the original Taimashi Kaguya run — I didn’t feel confident enough to produce good work. Since then, I’ve released many characters and learned a lot. Sure, I still make mistakes, but as they say: you learn by making them.

Now, after my little ramble, let’s talk about the character. The Kaguya Kawasumi from Shin Taimashi Kaguya is a bit different from her original appearance, because this run is much more recent — the first chapter came out on 14/07/2018, while the original run was around 2010 (I couldn’t find the exact publication date, so I’m going from memory — apologies if the year is wrong). You can clearly feel the gap in years in Crimson-sensei’s art style, which has changed a lot. On top of that, this version also has several additional outfits besides the original one, so I included those as well for this Kaguya.

I might also try to work on the Kaguya from the most recent run, Taimashi Kaguya Kiwami (sorry if that’s not the exact title).

If anyone is wondering why I decided to separate the three appearances, it’s because — given the evolution of Crimson-sensei’s style — I want to avoid losing fidelity by merging all three styles together and ending up with a Kaguya that doesn’t really resemble any of the runs.

That said, I’ll leave it to you — what do you think? And more importantly, would you like me to try releasing other Crimson characters who have appeared in multiple, differently-styled runs as well — like Nanase, Mitsu, etc.?
