Dawn Collins - PC - Selaco (SDXL)

Selaco is an Indie Retraux First-Person Shooter made on the GZDoom engine and heavily inspired by First Encounter Assault Recon, Half-Life, and Doom³, developed by Alter Orbit Studios. A demo for the game was put out in June 2022, with the game finally being released into Early Access on May 31st, 2024, with the first chapter being available with two more planned for the full release. The game is notable for the impressive technical acts it is able to pull off, such as extensive particle physics and advanced enemy A.I., on what is essentially an updated source port of the more than 30-year old Doom engine.

The game follows Dawn Collins, a security officer in the Allied Coalition for Expansion Security (ACES) organization in the underground Martian colony of Selaco, founded after the collapse of Earth from a chain of disasters known as "The Fall". While Dawn is in the hospital for an injured leg, mysterious soldiers attack the colony, forcing Dawn to don her battle gear and fight for her life against the invasion.
