Hanahaki / 花吐き病 - [IL]

Hanahaki disease is a fictional affliction affecting one who bears an unrequited love. This causes them to progressively worsen from coughing up petals to full flowers as time progresses, slowly suffocating them. It ends either when their love is returned, or when the victim dies. (Fanlore)
