Model description
The style of Rtil.
Trigger word is xtilxtil. sketch also has a positive impact, because these constitute most of the author's works. All works are also tagged with year and decade tags (i.e. 2024, 20s). 10s gives more pronounced lines, 20s gives softer shading. The artist has been active roughly since 2015. Gelbooru tags have been used, so feel free to prompt for any common themes in their arts, and you're likely to get a decent result. You might want to put monochrome, multiple views, artist name, watermark in the negatives. I'm uploading two epochs -- 02 and 08. The former has a less pronounced effect than the latter, but both feel differently compelling to me. Actually, it seems you can mostly mimic the effects of epoch 02 with simply putting shiny skin in the negatives and lowering the model weight, so I'll stick to just epoch 08.
This is actually my second attempt at this. My mistake the first time was using rtil (their actual booru tag) as the trigger word. The problem is, this artist has made a lot of works, so base Illustrious already recognized the style by this keyword, but it had some distorted bisases about it. This time I used their alternate name as the trigger word, and I'm much happier with the result. I now suspect this might have caused issues with some of my previous LoRAs too...
As for my rant about civitai's update to their on-site training, I'm now considering moving to something like kaggle or colab for LoRA training. If you have any tips regarding these, feel free to leave a comment.
