Anna and Elena Balbusso, known as the Balbusso Twins, are internationally acclaimed Italian illustrators based in Milan. Their work spans over 50 illustrated books, including deluxe editions of classics like The Handmaid's Tale and Pride and Prejudice. They have collaborated with major publishers such as Penguin Random House and HarperCollins, and their art has been featured in renowned publications like The New Yorker and The Economist. Over their career, they have received more than 100 prestigious awards, including Gold Medals from the Society of Illustrators in New York. Their unique style blends traditional and contemporary elements, making their illustrations both timeless and innovative.
