杜甫（712年－770年），字子美，自号少陵野老，唐代最伟大的现实主义诗人，被誉为“诗圣”。他出生于巩县，杜甫自幼好学，知识渊博，颇有政治抱负。

在《诗词动物城》的世界里，杜甫则是一只温润守礼的中华田园犬，他与李白有着难以分割的联系，他在中国古典诗歌中以风格浑朴沉郁著称。相对李白疏朗洒脱的“诗仙”，杜甫被后人奉为“诗圣”。

Du Fu (712–770), courtesy name Zimei and pseudonym Shaoling Ye Lao, was the greatest realist poet of China's Tang Dynasty, honored as the "Poet Sage." Born in Gong County, he displayed a thirst for knowledge from childhood, becoming deeply erudite and nurturing strong political aspirations.

In the world of "The Animal Poetry Town," Du Fu is reimagined as a gentle and dignified Chinese rural dog. Inseparable from Li Bai in literary legacy, he is celebrated in classical Chinese poetry for his profound, solemn, and introspective style. While Li Bai, the "Poet Immortal," embodied untamed brilliance, Du Fu was revered by posterity as the "Poet Sage"—a moral and artistic anchor.
