Type 89 medium tank / 八九式中戦車乙

The Imperial Japanese Army's first mass-produced tank, the Type 89 Lora, is a later model equipped with a diesel engine based on the Type 89 medium tank.

Developed and adopted in the late 1920s, it was used for a long period from the Manchurian Incident in 1930 until the end of the Pacific War in 1945.
