Kung Jin

Kung Jin is a skilled Shaolin archer and a cousin (retconned to nephew in later lore) of Kung Lao, debuting in Mortal Kombat X as part of a new generation of Earthrealm defenders. Initially presented as a street-smart thief with a rebellious streak and resentment towards Raiden, Kung Jin's experiences lead him to train with the Shaolin and fight to protect Earthrealm. While sometimes appearing brash and standoffish, he possesses a strong sense of loyalty and a belief in redemption, demonstrated through his evolving relationships with his teammates. Notably, he is the first openly gay character in the Mortal Kombat franchise, a facet of his identity that is subtly woven into his narrative.

This is a LoRA of the character "Kung Jin" from the Mortal Kombat videogame franchise. Made using merely 25 pictures consisting of his appearance in Mortal Kombat X conforming official artwork, screenshots and fanarts. The base model for this one is Illustrious.

I haven't played Mortal Kombat X but I've always been fond of Kung Jin. Not just because he's the first ever gay character in MK, I just like him. Maybe not the best MK character but I believe he's severely underrated, and we'll never get to see just how much potential he could have had. Still, me and a friend love him a lot. So here he is!
