Peter Harskamp

Peter Harskamp is a Dutch painter and sculptor born in 1951. After graduating from the Academy of Visual Arts in Rotterdam in 1973, he began his career working with ceramics before transitioning to bronze sculptures and layered figurative paintings. His work is known for its unique blend of abstraction and figuration, often evoking a sense of calm and positivity. Harskamp has exhibited internationally since 1975, with shows in the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Belgium, the USA, Germany, and Taiwan.
