The word Sindarin is Quenya for Grey-elven, since it was the language of the Grey Elves of Beleriand.

I was looking for a dark-themed elven name, and as luck would have it, Sindarin loosely translates to "grey-elf" which fits my design nicely!

Shout out to Mourna, for the the inspiration to make Sindarin! Mournas dark fantasy style puts the dark in dark elf!
