Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters #1–3 (1987) was created by Mike Grell.

Mike Grell was the writer, artist, and cover artist for the entire Longbow Hunters miniseries. He was responsible for reimagining Green Arrow (Oliver Queen) in a darker, more grounded, and mature tone, moving away from the superhero elements and focusing on urban crime and street-level vigilante justice. This series is often credited with redefining the character for a modern audience.
