[Scholastic (R L Stine)] Goosebumps Covers 1-62 Style Illustrious

Details

Model description

The model I think is fairly self explanatory.

So this is sort of a silly one, I'm not entirely sure what it's good for, maybe a sort of 'texture' that I can't really place my finger on. But it does some silly stuff in a fun way as you can see with the previews, since most of the cover art of the books was generally silly stuff.

Most of the iconic cover art for the original Goosebumps series (books #1–62), written by R. L. Stine, was painted by Tim Jacobus, an American illustrator. He created 60 of the original covers between 1992 and 2000, using traditional media like acrylics and airbrush on illustration board

The only two original series covers not by Jacobus were for Stay Out of the Basement and Be Careful What You Wish For…, illustrated by Jim Thiesen, though Jacobus later produced artwork for their reprints

Here’s a quick overview:

  • Tim Jacobus: Painted nearly all of the original Goosebumps covers (about 60 of 62), helping define the series’ vivid, eerie aesthetic

  • Jim Thiesen: Illustrated artwork for the two exceptions in the original run; Jacobus later painted reissue versions of those books

How It Worked 🎨

Jacobus typically received just a short synopsis or a few pages of a book, worked with Scholastic art directors to submit multiple sketches, and then painted the final cover—R.L. Stine himself had no direct input on these illustrations

We did NOT expect that level of ░B░O░O░B░A░!░ within the LoRA of "[Scholastic (R L Stine)] Goosebumps Covers 1-62 Style Illustrious"!

Works well at a strength of 1.
