The Ottifant is an elephant drawn in comic style created by the German comedian Otto Waalkes. The name Ottifant is a mixture of the comedian's trivialized first name (Otto → Otti) and elephant. The Ottifanten became a trademark and a kind of mascot for Otto Waalkes
