This is a LoRA designed as an attempt to replicate the Pony style—though not a full replication. The original Pony style has numerous issues with composition and details, so I’ve tried to incorporate more details and conceptual enhancements based on it, while reducing the weight of the original style. Otherwise, the entire model would look quite uncanny. To put it simply, this LoRA avoids the flaws of the Pony style while integrating the strengths of Illustrious.

This LoRA is compatible with all Illustrious-based models. While different fine-tuned models feature distinct composition characteristics, their visual styles remain consistent.

Additionally, if you have downloaded the fine-tuned models I previously released, there is no need to use this LoRA anymore. I have already merged its weights into those other fine-tuned models—so if you use this LoRA repeatedly alongside them, you will notice the issue of overfitting artifacts (patchy patterns).

Incidentally, creating LoRAs and fine-tuning models is really fun. They’re just like making a cake: if there’s too much flour, add more water; if there’s too much water, add more flour—you adjust to cater to the different preferences of different people.

Strictly speaking, this work isn’t the LoRA I’m most satisfied with.I think the composition and art style of Pony are quite in line with the aesthetic preferences of American animation. Moreover, it can indeed bring out unusual aesthetic concepts in specific scenarios—and that’s how it came to be. However, I couldn’t tolerate its outdated aspects and thus made improvements to them, which is why this (LoRA/model) feels somewhat unique.

Finally, I’ve been obsessed with Battlefield 6 lately, and I’m also experiencing a creative block. I’ll probably upload some of my old stock models in the near future, but when it comes to new content, I really have no ideas right now.
