Model description

This is a Pony architecture lora for the style of buildings and settlements in the Solarpunk style.

Solarpunk is the latest style of the punk theme series. It is new enough that there is no unified and accepted style for the look and ideas. Many that have put their ideas towards it tend to describe an idealistic setting where everything is sustainable. I find that idea to be too idealistic. The thing about a punk style theme is that there always tends to be something negative about it, along with something related to the hubris of man or a criticism of some idea or ideal. As such I have come up with my own idea regarding solarpunk.

My idea of what solarpunk is that it is the ultimate expression of mankind subjugating nature to its will. While on the outside and at first glance it looks to be idealistic, a closer look will show that many of the structures and landscape, while sustainable, nonetheless dictate and mold nature itself into a mockery of itself. The buildings and infrastructure is not simply built to coexist with nature nor built to be part of nature, but rather they forceably and tyrannically integrate themselves into nature itself like a parasite. The structures, instead of being made of long lasting materials, would need constant refurbishing and maintenance as the sustainability of the materials does not permit a long lasting effect. Nature must be constantly fed upon to keep up the entire structures and artificial natural landscapes.

While it may seem like humans benefit fully from their mastery over nature, even for much of humanity they are not as well off as they seem. The structures, in order to look natural, have instances where there are no railings nor other safety features. The paths and areas for a high population area are narrow and tend to not allow much movement for the people. Even if the people did want to move about, they are effectively subjugated to maintain the plants, nature, and buildings to even do much of any movements in the first place. For most people, their homes are small, narrow, cramped. The homes and business are there for only the most basic of needs, almost like a natural prison, for the sake of sustainability.

The difference between the regular people and the high upper class is that the elite need not tend to the nature themselves with others doing it for them. The elite have access to more living space, wider paths, and run large sections of the city or greater in such a way that it is like their one private large scale garden. While the lower classes tend to have access to basic needs, basic living conditions, and limited movement, the upper class has more diversity of food, greater ability for movement, and living conditions not much different from a regular high class member of society.

In short, my view and idea of solarpunk is the hubris of man to control nature whilst many unknowingly imprison themselves mentally and productively to keep up the facade of their mastery over nature. And the only ones that know better are the elite that continue to live as though they would under a regular capitalist system, yet instead choose to subjugate the people whilst making an idealistic twisted mockery of nature.

A weight of 1 works well with this with most models. Sampling Steps of 15 to 35 works well with most models, as does a CFG Scale of 3.5 to 7.5.

Prompts for this lora are ( Solarpunk, architecture, ).
