Vaelrix the Devourer

In his true form, Vaelrix is a vision of both terror and majesty — a colossal dragon wreathed in living fire. His scales are black as cooled obsidian, veined with molten gold that pulses like the heartbeat of a dying star. His wings stretch wide enough to eclipse the moon, torn at the edges where divine weapons once struck him. Horns of burnished crimson curl from his skull, and his eyes — vast, blazing orbs of molten amber — burn with an intelligence so ancient it borders on madness. When he exhales, the air ignites; when he lands, the earth fractures.

When he walks among mortals, Vaelrix assumes the guise of a tall, powerfully built man with long black hair streaked in deep red, like embers hidden in shadow. His eyes retain their molten glow, impossible to mistake — golden fire swirling within black sclera. His skin bears faint, scale-like patterns that shimmer when struck by light, and ancient runes flicker across his chest and arms like living tattoos. He dresses in dark, regal attire — robes of smoldering silk and metal-threaded cloth, trimmed with ember-like designs that shift subtly as if alive. Even in human form, an aura of heat and dominance radiates from him, making the air waver around his presence.
