Cosmic Terrors: Eroth Vhal

A towering figure looms amidst the crumbling remnants of forgotten ruins — a being neither wholly corporeal nor spirit. Cloaked in undulating shadows, it moves with an unsettling grace, its many tendrils flowing like smoke caught in a silent storm. From beneath the darkness, two molten-orange eyes pierce the gloom, burning with an intelligence older than the stars.

At the center of its chest glows a circular emblem, pulsing with faint, rhythmic light — a symbol whose meaning has been lost to time, yet whose presence commands both reverence and dread. The air around it bends subtly, warping as though reality itself recoils from its existence.

Above, a luminous moon hangs suspended in a sky torn by swirling cosmic currents, casting pale light upon broken stone and shattered monuments. The ruins whisper with echoes of ancient worship, hinting that this being was once a god — or the reason gods were feared.

Known in half-remembered texts as the Eclipseborne, it is said to wander the boundaries between worlds, drawn to the dying light of civilizations on the brink of collapse. Wherever it passes, the stars dim, and silence follows.
