1983年から続く、菊地秀行先生の代表作『吸血鬼ハンター“D”』シリーズの第一作をアニメ化した作品、バンパイアハンターDのヒロイン、ドリス・ランです。
小説の方はまだまだ続いていて通算56冊目の新刊が今年の1月に出ています。
イラストレーションも変わらずずっと天野喜孝先生ですね。
で、アニメ化なんですが二度されています。
一度目は、本LORAで取り上げさせていただいた作品で、1985年にOVAとして出ています。
絵柄も天野喜孝先生の風味はなく「バイファム？」って感じですが、そのバイファムのキャラクターデザインの山内則康氏がされています。
アニメ化に際して『絵柄に手を付ける』という究極的なチャレンジを行っていますが、原作小説が世に出てまだニ年目ですから、触りやすかったのだろうと思います。
2000年のニ度目のアニメ化は、小説第三作目の『妖殺行』を原作としていて、こちらは天野喜孝先生の絵柄を意識しています。
アメリカ先行劇場公開という珍しいパターンですね。
さて、ドリスなんですが。
時代と申しましょうか、OVAの宿命と申しましょうか。
ドリスちゃん、露出が多いんです（笑）
そういう物語じゃないんですが、まぁ吸血鬼ものという時点で幾ぶんか艶っぽくなるのは否めない。
【ここからネタバレしますが、原作小説の試し読み範囲程度、つまり数ページです】
吸血鬼ハンター“D”も一作目なので、映画『シェーン』のオマージュ的な香りがプンプンしてます。なんつーか熟れていないんですね。
でも面白いですよ。
『若く美しい娘ドリスは街道を通る武具をもった旅人に片っ端から勝負をふっかけていた。吸血鬼に襲われたドリスは再びの訪問がある前に腕利きのハンターを雇おうと死にものぐるいだったのだ。そこに通りがかったのが・・・』
ってな物語導入部、ほんの数ページです。
こんなん面白いに決まってますやん！
小説のイラストレーション、表紙には”D”とドリスが描かれていますが、ちゃんと服を着込んでいます。別に露出が多くなる要素はなく、実際、町中の女性（登場は少ないが）と比較しても異様に露出が多い（笑）
ミニスカートに、ワカメちゃんもびっくりの常時パンツ丸出し（見せパン？）で、おまけに胸の谷間が強調されています。（でかくはない）
いや原作もね、物語が始まってわずか数ページでスッポンポンになるんですが、”D”の足止めってか気を引くためです。
アニメはそういう描写無しでいきなり露出多いもんだから、妙に浮いて。
でも物語は面白いです。
おすすめは・・・アニメだと2000年板ですね。
でも1985年OVA板も時代を感じつつ楽しめる良作です。
麗銀星とDの初顔合わせなんて、音楽もあってますし、なかなか見事な演出です。
ドリスちゃんがパンツ見せ放題なんて、小さい問題です。
単なる痴女気質だと思ってみたらなかなか味わい深いので、痴女好きなかたどうぞ＾＾ｂ
