Kanou Seisaku (born January 26, 1949) is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator from Niigata. After working as an assistant at Saito Production under Saito Takao, he studied under Koike Kazuo at Studio Ship. He made his debut in 1973 with "Karaa Do." His notable works include Jikken Ningyō Dummy Oscar (Experimental Doll Dummy Oscar), which captivated young audiences in the 1970s, Mamonogatari Itoshi no Betty, and Auction House. He currently serves as a visiting professor at Osaka University of Arts.
