Hexus — Experimental Merge Description (Draft)
Hexus is an experimental, highly reactive model merge designed specifically for the Restart KSampler system. It excels in producing colorful, energetic, and compositionally varied images reminiscent of modern Pixiv aesthetics, all while operating at extremely low CFG values.
Model Behavior
Designed for: Restart Sampler / Restart KSampler (LCM is usable as well)
CFG Range: 1.5 to 3
- Do not exceed CFG 3 — saturation becomes excessive and colors may blow out.
Steps: 10–25 max
- Higher steps don’t improve quality; the sampler’s restart behavior supplies the variation.
Recommended Scheduler:
- karras or sgm_uniform (default for Restart KSampler)
Style Characteristics
Pixiv-style sheen — smooth gradients, clean anime rendering, punchy but controlled contrast
Colorful and diverse outputs — each generation carries distinct palette variation due to the restart mechanism
Dynamic composition — the sampler’s segmented denoising adds micro-variations in form, posing, and framing
Soft glow and delicate lighting, especially at CFG < 2.5
Not meant for realism — stylization is a core feature
Intended Use
Hexus is ideal for:
expressive anime portraits
vibrant character illustrations
stylized fantasy or energetic concept art
experimentation with color, form, and lighting interplay
Hexus embraces controlled chaos: the Restart Sampler restarts denoising in segments, causing unique artistic shifts. Instead of forcing a strict style, the model encourages variation, surprise, and visual spontaneity.
