Jane French

Jane French is a British painter specializing in oil portraiture and figurative art.

She studied Fine Art at Newcastle University and earned an MA in Design at De Montfort University.

Her work has been shown at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and she appeared on Sky Arts’ Portrait Artist of the Year (2021).

Alongside her practice, she teaches oil painting and design in art centers and higher education.
