About this version
Model description
Assists with reproducing the Darkest Dungeon art style in Chroma. Mostly trained on promotional art and similar rather than game assets.
I didn't see any resources for Darkest Dungeon specifically for Chroma yet, and it's a style I really enjoy, so I created a quick dataset and trained one up. Been a while since I trained a LoRA, and this is my first on Chroma, so had to do a few runs to learn the new tools and practices. It does the job decently, but I'm not completely happy with it yet (noticed a few degradations and inconsistencies I'd like to eliminate), so I plan to increase the size of the dataset a bit more and tweak some training parameters for a v2 (just need to find good quality samples). Or unless someone comes along and trains a better one.
Usage
While it has no trigger word, it works best with a supportive prompt (and is much better than prompting alone!). Just mentioning "Darkest Dungeon" helps, but a more comprehensive phrase that does a good job and can be appended to your content prompt is:
Darkest Dungeon style, thick comic outlines with sidelighting, high clarity chiaroscuro with vivid colors and flat shading
And whatever quality prompting you like to use (as long as it doesn't conflict with the Darkest Dungeon style).
Mind your sampler and scheduler. Some of the ones commonly used for "photographic" style output can end up looking too detailed or overly sharpened for the Darkest Dungeon style.
