In laughter dwelt the Northern Hall,

Where gifts and mercy blessed them all.

There grew a maid with holly hair,

Raised by Santa’s grace and gentle care.

Claus named, by love made whole,

The joy of hearth, the light of soul.

For years she walked the jolly way,

Where carols turned the night to day.

The heir of cheer, the promise fair,

No shadow yet upon her prayer.

But upon her twenty-second year

She strayed to darkness and forest of fear.

The forest hushed, the moon burned pale,

The wind spoke low a horned old tale.

There stood a shape of ash and chain,

With eyes like coals and breath of pain.

He named her once, in ancient tongue,

A name no carol ever sung.

And truth like thunder split the night—

Her blood reawakened to older rite.

Then fell the lies like melting snow,

She knew at last why her heart said no.

Why cheer rang false, why bells felt wrong,

Why silence claimed her all along.

Not born of gift nor candle’s glow,

But of the whip and winter’s blow.

The judge of sin, the shadow’s sire—

Krampus, born of elder fire.

The years of mercy snapped like thread,

The borrowed warmth lay cold and dead.

Her father’s chains she felt as scars,

His exile etched in bleeding stars.

No more the child of endless cheer,

No more the lie she held so near.

For joy unearned must fade to fear,

And truth returns when lies are clear.

At the house of lies the snow shall run red,

The North will remember the long forgotten dread.

Now hoof and chain shall shake the land,

With horns and teeth at her command.

Her life a lie, a brief pause,

For all this time she was Holly Claws! 😈

The old night wakes, the debt stands tall—

Krampusnacht shall claim them all. 🔥
