模型描述
T-54/55 is one of the first modern tank design to have been put in production (arguably, it could be considered the first MBT, doctrine wise). The first version of the 54 appeared around 1946, right after the War. This tank has been wildly used by many countries around the world. It is still in use today in multiple conflicts.
The differences between the T-54 and T-55 are extremely difficult to spot. The key technical difference between the two is that the T-55 is designed to protect the crew and equipment from NBC hazards (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical). It can also be equipped with a snorkel, allowing it to cross bodies of water by driving along the bottom. From a NVA tank commander's testimony I've read, it's quite an experience to live through.
The tank was produced by various countries in the world. It received a ton upgrade packages and uparmor kits. For this lora, I tried to avoid pictures of tanks with upgraded armors or tanks covered in Kontakt.
The result is pretty good I think. Looking at it, I'm definitely gonna do a T-72 lora too.
In the video below you can see NVA T-55 in action (the chubby boys). There are T-72s too (with the pancake turret). At 1:41 there's a insane shot of T-55s coming out of the smoke.
