The model I think is fairly self explanatory.

It was really interesting to find out The Beatles were scousers? apparently? Scouse is like a regional accent from a specific part of the united kingdom, generally people point out that to them it sounds fairly incoherent, I don't have that problem myself, I generally can follow scousers i've seen on youtube when they talk. I think scouse is just from one specific city, I forget which, I don't like to entirely fact check the fun things I know from memory because I feel like that's kind of a 'fake' thing to do. But it must have been maybe like 10-15 years ago? But one of the most popular pornhub search tags was 'scouse slag' in the UK at a point, I never actually browsed that content myself, but to this day I find that really funny. Do other regional accents get fetishised?

Most of my friends are from the Southern parts of the USA, tenenesee and Georgia abouts, but other than maybe 2-4/50 or so of them, none of them really have accents like you'd think, I kind of think with the internet and overuse of internet that we're kind of homogenizing and learning a sort of blended accent that's kind of like, an internet regional dialect where you can sort of puzzle out where from 'the internet' people are from. I know in my formative years my accent was kind of born out of learning how to talk by singing to music and watching movies.

I figure youtube content will sort of shape peoples accents too over time, and/or other web content.

Nobody's really caught onto it yet, I guess I'm early to the party on it again, with this concept. But content you read does develop an accent in your head, not like in how it sounds, but how you think. I can generally tell where from 'on the internet' a person is from, somethingawful people, redditors, 4chan, ect.

The way you are observed to think marks you just like a strong to slight regional speech accent. I don't think I'm the only one who's really noticed that, because it's generally the same people who get scammed repeatedly on the internet. It's kind of like how it's the same usual marks that get mugged in real life, generally people who get mugged, get mugged constantly because they mark themselves with behaviors that they're not fighters or will submit and comply because they do things like looking at the ground as they walk.

Lots of people 'look at the ground', as they talk.
