モデル説明

Courtney Whitmore, known as Stargirl, is a prominent superheroine in DC Comics, originally debuting as the second Star-Spangled Kid. Created by writer Geoff Johns—who drew inspiration from his late sister—and artist Lee Moder, she first appeared in Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. #0 (July 1999). In her origin, Courtney, a teenage girl from California relocated to Blue Valley, Nebraska, discovers the Cosmic Converter Belt belonging to Sylvester Pemberton, the original Star-Spangled Kid. Motivated initially by rebellion against her stepfather Pat Dugan—a former sidekick known as Stripesy—she adopts the Star-Spangled Kid identity, prompting Dugan to construct the S.T.R.I.P.E. robotic armor to support and protect her in heroic endeavors.

Stargirl's abilities evolved significantly over time. Initially reliant on the Cosmic Converter Belt, which granted enhanced strength, agility, durability, and energy projection, she later received the powerful Cosmic Staff from Jack Knight, the retiring Starman. This artifact enabled advanced capabilities, including flight, stellar energy manipulation, powerful energy blasts, force field generation, and deflection of attacks. The staff responds to her willpower and has become her signature weapon, distinguishing her as Stargirl—a name she adopted to honor both the Star-Spangled Kid legacy and Starman's cosmic heritage—while reflecting her optimistic and youthful approach to heroism.

Throughout her publication history, Stargirl has been a key member of the Justice Society of America, joining as one of its youngest recruits and contributing to legacy preservation across generations. Notable developments include her leadership roles in JSA All-Stars, participation in crossovers such as Infinite Crisis and Blackest Night, and integration into teams like Justice League United in various continuities, including the New 52 and Rebirth eras. Her narratives often emphasize themes of family, mentorship, and resilience, establishing her as an enduring symbol of hope within the DC Universe, further amplified by adaptations in animated series and live-action television.
