Model description

No one knows exactly when the first octopus chose her. Some say it happened on a night by the harbor when the sea was unnaturally calm. Others believe she was born with the strange gift — the ability to hear the thoughts of creatures that live where sunlight never reaches.

Since then, the ocean has followed her.

Octopuses seem to recognize something in her presence. They cling to her, rest near her, or curl themselves around her shoulders like loyal companions. Sailors whisper that these creatures are not merely animals in her company — they are messengers, guardians, perhaps even fragments of some ancient intelligence sleeping beneath the waves.

She rarely explains it.

Instead, she travels quietly through cities, laboratories, harbors, and aquariums, always accompanied by one of her unusual companions. The octopuses seem strangely content with her, glowing faintly at times, their movements almost deliberate — as if they are studying the world through her eyes.

Some think she is researching them.

Others suspect the opposite.

That the octopuses are researching us.

And she is simply their interpreter.
