High Lightning Epic Style

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing great. This time I’m bringing you “High Lightning Epic Style”, a LoRA designed to reproduce a powerful, high-contrast shonen illustration aesthetic inspired by modern manga and anime action artwork.

The purpose of this LoRA is to capture the visual language commonly seen in intense battle-focused shonen illustrations: bold and confident ink linework, dramatic lighting, sharp cel shading, and explosive compositions that emphasize motion, impact, and energy. The style focuses on strong silhouettes, dynamic anatomy, expressive faces, and highly contrasted rendering that makes characters feel powerful and cinematic.

This model aims to recreate the feeling of modern high-energy anime illustrations while remaining flexible enough to work with both existing characters and original designs. Instead of generating characters on its own, the LoRA acts primarily as a style adapter, translating characters into a dramatic, high-impact shonen aesthetic with strong lighting and visual intensity.

The training images used for this LoRA were strongly inspired by the artwork of the Instagram artist unknxwn_fait, whose illustrations feature extremely striking contrast, energetic compositions, and bold manga-style ink rendering. You can check out their work here:

How the prompts work

To make the LoRA easier to control, the prompts are structured in a modular way. There is a base style prompt, and then additional prompts that modify the composition or visual effects. These can be combined depending on the image you want to generate.

Base style prompt (general)

This prompt defines the core visual style of the model and should be included in most generations:

Epic style, high impact shonen anime illustration style, bold dynamic ink lineart, sharp cel shading, extreme contrast lighting, dramatic rim light, glossy highlights, vibrant saturated colors, cinematic lighting, high detail anime rendering

This establishes the dramatic shonen aesthetic, including the bold ink lines, strong lighting contrast, and saturated anime colors.

Close-up prompt

Used when generating face-focused images or portrait shots:

extreme close-up portrait composition, strong rim light on face, glossy skin highlights, intense facial shadows, dramatic portrait lighting

This emphasizes facial lighting, dramatic shadows, and strong rim light around the face.

Black and white prompt

Used when generating manga-style monochrome illustrations:

Epic style, monochrome palette, black and white illustration, deep shadows and sharp highlights, ink splash textures, heavy contrast shading, dark atmospheric lighting

This shifts the rendering to a high-contrast manga aesthetic with strong blacks and expressive ink textures.

Half-body prompt

Used for waist-up character compositions:

waist-up composition, dynamic pose, cinematic character framing

This helps the model frame the character in a dynamic mid-shot.

Full-body prompt

Used when generating complete character illustrations:

full body composition, dynamic heroic pose, dramatic character framing

This encourages powerful poses and strong full-character compositions.

Energy effects prompt

Used when you want to generate power auras and shonen energy effects:

glowing energy aura, swirling power waves, radiant light emission, energy streaks, motion trails, floating sparks, luminous glow, dynamic power effects

This adds the characteristic battle aura and explosive energy effects common in shonen action scenes.

Recommended usage

The best results are usually achieved by combining the prompts like this:

• Base style + composition prompt (close up / waist up / full body)

• Add energy effects only when needed

• Add black and white prompt for manga-style illustrations
