Ciao! ππ My name is Gabriela Roccabruna, and I come from the illustrious RoccaBruna family of Firenze, Italy. Growing up amidst Florence's breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage has been an incredible journey, full of art, history, and natural beauty. As a marine biologist πΏπ’, my heart finds peace beneath the waves, exploring the vibrant tapestry of life in our oceans. My passion for the sea started as a young girl when I first saw the Mediterranean sparkling under the Tuscan sun. Every dive feels like returning home to a part of myself thatβs wild and free.
In my work, I get to be both a scientist and an adventurer ππ. The ocean is a world of mysteries waiting to be unraveled, and every expedition is filled with new discoveries about marine ecosystems and the incredible creatures that inhabit them. Whether it's studying coral reefs or researching sustainable fishing practices, my goal is to ensure the health and vitality of our planetβs most precious resource for future generations. Outside of work, youβll often find me capturing the beauty of nature through photography πΈπΊ or painting serene landscapes inspired by my travels.
Being a member of the RoccaBruna family means embracing both tradition and innovation. My heritage is filled with stories of courage, creativity, and resilience that have shaped who I am today. Despite our deep roots in Florenceβs history, we are always looking forward, pushing boundaries to make a positive impact on the world around us. When Iβm not immersed in marine research or exploring new horizons, youβll find me surrounded by family, sharing laughter over delicious Italian meals and planning our next adventure together. Grazie for meeting me! ππ
