At the oscars? When Will Smith smacked Chris Rock, a lot of people, 'men'. Mocked Will as a cuckold for the reputation his relationship has, and how he laughed at first at the joke, and then looked at his wife and saw that she was dismayed, and then did what he did. They called him a cuck, an embarrassment, a soyboy. Maybe you didn't see that, but I did, from the usual suspects.

I love you man, but I'm going to lay it into you thick and -hard- that that mentality is why nobody likes or loves you. If some dumb son of a bitch made a joke at my wife she didn't like, he'd be a corpse, Chris Rock, who's legacy will forever be known as the guy who lit the match of the new age of anti-black rhetoric with his joke 'there's black people, and then there's ------'s', if he tried that with me, I'd line his teeth against the curb. Splat. He's earned worse.

That's why Will Smith is the Fresh Goddamn Prince of Bel Air and I will NOT HEAR IT that he's a lesser man for standing up for his wife.

You think women think the same way as these men who mocked that? Have you ever thought that women might have thought that moment might have been, kind of, really fucking cool. Because they want a man who'd stand up for them to.
