Overview

MIKAN_Illustrious_v2.2_Hybrid is an SDXL-based model (Illustrious/Pony) designed

to deliver a "zesty" visual experience: combining high-precision prompt

adherence with vibrant, crystal-clear colors.

While the previous SAKURA_Illustrious focused on surface textures and lighting,

MIKAN_Illustrious takes a step further by surgically separating the model's

"Intelligence" and "Visual Engine" to achieve a more responsive and vivid

output.

Technical Details (Layer-Specific Merge)

This hybrid was crafted using a custom Python script to transplant the

prompt-following capabilities of an earlier prototype into the refined visual

framework of v1.4.

- Prompt Intelligence (100% MIKAN v0.2 Logic): The Conditioner, Text Model

(CLIP L/G), and Label Embeddings are fully inherited from MIKAN v0.2. This

ensures the model captures the nuances of your prompts with significantly

higher sensitivity and accuracy.

- Visual Engine & Color Grading (100% MIKAN v1.4): The UNet (Input, Middle,

and Output Blocks) is entirely powered by MIKAN v1.4. This preserves the

"Mikan" signature: a fresh, non-muddy color palette and high-fidelity

textures that eliminate the "greasy" look common in many SDXL merges.

- Outcome: By isolating the "Brain" (Model B) from the "Body" (Model A), this

model responds faithfully to complex instructions while maintaining a

consistent, high-quality aesthetic.
