Star Wars Animated Universe Checkpoint

This checkpoint is inspired by the animated Star Wars universe, with a strong focus on the visual styles of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and The Bad Batch.

The goal of this project is to create a single checkpoint capable of covering as much of the Star Wars universe as possible without requiring additional LoRAs. My objective is to build a versatile model that can generate characters, alien species, planets, vehicles, droids, creatures, and environments from across the entire galaxy while maintaining a consistent animated aesthetic.

As a longtime fan of the Republic era, I naturally focused more heavily on that period during dataset creation. Because of this, the model currently offers stronger coverage of Clone Wars-era content, including Jedi, Clone Troopers, Republic characters, and many of the species commonly seen during that time.

Current Limitations

This checkpoint is still a work in progress, and some characters are not yet reproduced perfectly. Character recognition and consistency are areas that I continue to improve with each training iteration.

Interestingly, the model currently seems to recognize female characters better than male characters. 😄 While many female characters are already quite reliable, some male characters still require additional training data and refinement.

There is still plenty of room for improvement, and achieving broader coverage of the Star Wars universe will require additional training, more diverse datasets, and continued testing.

Feedback Welcome

I would love to see what the community creates with this checkpoint, especially content from different Star Wars eras.

Since the current dataset is more heavily focused on the Republic era, generations featuring the Old Republic, Imperial Era, Rebellion, New Republic, First Order, or other less represented periods are extremely valuable. Seeing how the model performs across different characters, species, locations, and time periods helps me identify weaknesses and prioritize future improvements.

My ultimate goal is to create a single animated Star Wars checkpoint capable of representing the entire Star Wars universe without relying on additional LoRAs.
