Blue-footed booby

The blue-footed booby (scientific name: Sula nebouxii) is a species of bird classified in the family Sulidae. It inhabits tropical to subtropical waters and is known to breed on islands in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. As its name suggests, it is characterized by its blue feet, which are also the origin of its English name, 'Blue-footed Booby.'
