DarkPhoton

This is a simple merge of two of my favorite checkpoints: Photon and DarkSun. It is weighted 60% Photon and 40% DarkSun. I was looking for something that had most of the incredible realism of Photon combined with some of the more flexible anime-like attributes of DarkSun and this weighting seems to work to perfection for that combination of attributes. Very good at SFW and NSFW content. I have used it almost exclusively to generate solo images of women. It's great at that, but struggles with rendering couples or groups (as a lot of SD1.x models do). Not sure how it will do with images of men but give it a shot if you like! It has become one of my favorite checkpoints to use. Enjoy and please share some images made with this model if you like what you are able to generate!

• Plays very nicely with a wide variety of Loras, including characters, clothing, concepts

• Minimal negative prompts required but works well with most of the popular negative embeddings

• Since it's 60% Photon, it has inherited some of that model's struggles with rendering hands properly, but this can be pretty successfully mitigated with the judicious use of prompts like "good hands" and "perfect hands" and some of the bad hand negative embeddings that are available

• Best results with 512 x 768 resolution, but I've gotten pretty good images with 512 x 512 as well. Struggles more with landscape aspect ratios but still possible to get some good stuff with some experimentation.

• Sampling Method DPM ++ 2M Karras or DPM ++ SDE Karras for great near-photorealistic outputs. Euler A produces somewhat more toon style results.

• Hires.fix and Restore Faces works well with this model

• I typically use 30-40 sampling steps and 50% of whatever the sampling steps value is for Hires steps. Denoising Strength of 0.5 and CFG Scale of 7 are good starting points. Set ClipSkip to 2.
