Model description
Searching through old golden age issues of Sensation Comics for my Dean Sourpuss model reminded me that Sensation had a girl-orientated period from 1948 to 1951 where the main Wonder Woman story was backed up mostly or entirely by other female characters, resulting in a brief flowering of take-no-shit dames just before the post-War 1950s "back into the kitchen, girls" culture really took hold.
"Lady Danger" was Valerie Vaughn, a glamorous debutante who earned her nickname through her pursuit of excitement to liven up her life of idle wealth, leading her to become a crime reporter who regularly got into punch-ups with crooks and gangsters. If they brought her back now she'd probably have a really hands-on true crime podcast or something. You can have that one for free, DC.
