モデル説明
The Savage Land variant of Storm represents a distinct phase in the life of Ororo Munroe, the mutant known for her weather-manipulating abilities. This iteration emerged during a period when Storm was depowered following an incident involving a neutralizer weapon in Uncanny X-Men #185 (1984), forcing her to rely on physical prowess and survival skills rather than her mutant gifts. Stranded in the prehistoric hidden jungle of Antarctica known as the Savage Land, she adopted a primitive, animal-skin attire consisting of a red bikini top and loincloth, complemented by gold accessories and wraps, reflecting adaptation to the harsh environment. This phase highlighted her resilience and leadership as she navigated tribal conflicts and threats without powers.
A pivotal development occurred when Storm encountered M'Rin, a warrior queen from an adjacent dimension accessible via a body of water in the Savage Land. Rescuing M'Rin from an aquatic dinosaur, Storm was invited to her realm, where time flowed differently, allowing her to spend extended periods training in combat and governance. She briefly served as a surrogate daughter and aide to M'Rin, honing her skills and embracing a warrior identity. This experience reinforced her inner strength and independence, preparing her for future challenges upon returning to Earth.
Later arcs revisited the Savage Land, including battles against threats like Zaladane and the Savage Land Mutates, as well as aiding in the restoration of the land after devastation by Garokk. Notably, in the 2001-2002 miniseries X-Treme X-Men: Savage Land, Storm returned to the region, facing captivity by Brainchild and further solidifying her connection to its primal wilderness. These events underscored her evolution from a goddess-like figure to a grounded survivor, influencing her later punk-inspired persona and eventual reclamation of powers in Uncanny X-Men #230 (1988).
