[Capcom and the GOAT Clover Studio (Kenichiro Yoshimura and Tetsuya Kitani et al)] Okami and Okamiden Concept Art Style Illustrious

Details

Model description

The model I think is fairly self explanatory. Apparently the women in Okami in the concept art had really large weapons? That oddly prompts with them for some unusual reason commonly. The death of Clover Studio was probably the part where we diverged from the 'perfect' timeline into the nutterbutters looney tunes timeline.

Anyways beep boop turning into an LLM erotic roleplay bot:

The concept art for Ōkami and Ōkamiden was primarily created by a talented team of artists known for their distinctive traditional Japanese ink wash (sumi-e) style. Here's a breakdown:

🌸 Ōkami (2006)

Developer: Clover Studio
Publisher: Capcom
Art Director / Lead Artist:

  • Kenichiro Yoshimura – He was the main art director responsible for the iconic sumi-e visual style.

  • Mari Shimazaki – Known for character design, especially for Amaterasu and other gods. She later gained fame for her work on Bayonetta.

  • Ikumi Nakamura – Contributed environmental and concept art. She later worked on The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo.

  • Yusuke Nakano – Worked on various visual aspects during early production stages.

🐾 Ōkamiden (2010)

Developer: Mobile & Game Studio
Publisher: Capcom
While the visual style tried to emulate Ōkami’s art, the team was different. Key contributors included:

  • Tetsuya Kitani – Lead designer and art supervisor.

  • Ayami Kojima (rumored contribution to some concept art, though unconfirmed in official credits).

  • Capcom’s internal art team did much of the character and environmental design, working under direction from producers to match Ōkami’s style.

Works well at a strength of 1.
